Going to #leh I wasn’t too sure whether I would be able to talk at all, let alone take a two-hour session on Fact check tools, given my history of #altitudesickness . But with Diamox and diligent care in not straining myself for the first 24 hours, I found myself enjoying the workshop.

August reminds me of my first visit to the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy last year. It was a rare occasion when narayanan balasubramanian and I were together invited to lecture IPS Officer Trainees on #socialmedia . A half day workshop on social media management that talked about using social media for personal and departmental purposes. The subject of #misinformation was lightly touched upon due to paucity of time. But the workshop ended on a note of laughter when examples of misinformation were shared. All in all, an enjoyable session in an academy in serene environs, except for the shots that ring out when OTs practice at the gun range 😀

Learning should be fun. And as a trainer one feels fulfilled if a half-day #workshop eats into lunchtime without your trainees even realising it!
